Delta Air Lines - Engine Problems (USA)

A Boeing 777 of Delta Air Lines (USA) had engine problems after take-off in Los Angeles and had to turn back. Fuel was dumped from the aircraft over a schools area about 20 km east of the airport. It was fully fueled for a 14-hour flight. More than 40 people outdoors, including many elementary school students were injured, complaining of respiratory and skin irritation.
